SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE PEOPLE OF HAITI Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti I feel that it is appropriate that we have a special collection after all the Masses next weekend to help towards the relief effort. Speaking at his weekly general audience, Pope Benedict XVI has also appealed to the international community and individuals to be quick and generous in their aid. "The Catholic Church will immediately activate (its aid) through its charity institutions in order to respond to the most urgent needs of the population," he said. Please help if you can.
